![]() The point of bringing this game up, was to emphasize that the time of bias against "The Enemy" is coming to an end. While it does not have a campaign, it puts away any bias on both sides and allows us, the player to enjoy battling against each other on whatever side we choose to play. Hell Let Loose is a Multiplayer FPS + Strategy. Faces of War did give us a German campaign, why did you just brush that aside? I'm pretty sure you got to play the AXIS in Axis & Allies, though I did play it so many years ago, perhaps not. It was not on the same level as the Soviet campaign in CoH 2, so it is not classed as a campaign. You get to play them in a mini campaign with a quick little story that gives you a historical background, but sure. You don't get to play as the Germans in CoH1 or CoH2 (Mainstory Campaign). Both CoHs did better than that, and make your argument somewhat ridiculous. The way you ignored these is making your reaction a bit overboard to me.Īddendum: Hell let loose and, as far as I'm aware, Axis&allies, have no campaign with plot to speak off, so two of all games you listed, they have the most bare bone axis representation: skirmish/quick game-only. The fact they got that far is not half-behind. Some even give the background of the missions, its importance, and briefings of janky conditions. The second game, while not as much, give you ToW, the pseudo-campaign where some missions are what they are: challenges. Originally posted by Chonokhan:It seems very lazy and uninspired for companies not to give us the campaigns of "the other side" like earlier CoHs.We did see both sides in both games, particularly the first one which has 1 campaign and 2 mini campaign, making up about half of the single player content, especially with how hard one of the mini campaign is. ![]()
